Tetiana Haidym, one of the participants of the Create Ukraine program, is leading the coordination of preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 — the main international forum dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery, which will take place next year in Rome.
The conference will bring together over 4,000 participants from more than 50 countries. Governments, international organizations, business representatives, and civil society will come together to define priorities, formats, and funding sources for Ukraine’s recovery.
Tetiana is a project management specialist with experience at global consulting firms Deloitte and Synpulse, where she led large-scale business transformation initiatives and digital strategy implementation for financial sector companies across the EU, Asia, and the United States.
In 2024, she returned to Ukraine through the Create Ukraine program and joined the team at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine to apply her international expertise to reforms at home. Under the leadership of Maria Zakharenko, Head of the Ministry’s Reform Support Team, Tetiana now coordinates efforts across more than ten Ukrainian ministries, government agencies, international partners, and external consultants.
She is responsible for building and synchronizing all streams of preparation for URC 2025 — a process that involves thousands of participants from over 50 countries. Tetiana is at the heart of this complex, multi-directional effort:
✅ Defining the structure and content of panel discussions
✅ Preparing materials for the Conference Board to shape political positions across all focus areas
✅ Engaging stakeholders from the private and civic sectors in Ukraine and partner countries
In addition to internal coordination, Tetiana also oversees the preparation of “On the Road to URC” side events — gatherings across Europe designed to build momentum ahead of the main conference. One such event — a business forum in Milan — has already taken place successfully.
She also supports:
● Organizing workshops, roundtables, and a business fair as part of the conference program
● Collecting and aligning deliverables — concrete commitments to be publicly announced in Rome (agreements, investment project announcements, partnerships, etc.)
What’s the impact? Thanks to Tetiana’s work:
● Ukraine presents a unified, coordinated position in negotiations with international partners attending the conference
● Communication with Italian partners — the conference co-organizers — is smooth and effective
● Businesses, NGOs, and international organizations are more actively engaged in the preparation process
● On the Ukrainian side, 17 ministries, 3 government offices, and reform support teams of each ministry are actively involved
● The recovery of Ukraine is progressing with coordination, clarity, and transparent communication
In other words: Tetiana ensures that Ukraine’s messages are delivered clearly, persuasively, and on time to the international audience. And we’re proud of her success.
Create Ukraine is co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Lithuania within the framework of the EU4Youth program, aimed at supporting young people. The project is managed by the Lithuanian organization Central Project Management Agency and implemented by the KSE Foundation at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Ten young professionals with international experience have returned to Ukraine through this program. In this publication series, we highlight the work, achievements, and impact of each of them.
