These remarkable Ukrainians are driving change through their ideas and projects, advancing science, engineering, and education.

⭐️Tymofii Baranenko is a design engineer and the founder of an R&D startup developing guided missiles and UAVs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He has mastered 3D printing, avionics design, and thrust-vector control. He leads a team that produces reconnaissance drones and solid-fuel missile prototypes. Tymofii aims for scaling up: switching to commercial engines, using printed circuit boards, increasing the range to 1 km, and producing more than 25 units per year. In parallel, he is participating in the development of suspension components for S-8 rockets at an aircraft repair plant and preparing to study Applied Physics and Engineering at Harvard to implement cutting-edge solutions.

«Success, to me, is when tasks are completed to the exact degree we expected them to be», — Tymofii emphasizes.

⭐️Olha Doskochynska is an innovative educator who integrates STEM technologies into schools — from the «SMART School» project and two victories at the European STEM Discovery Week to creating Ukraine’s first Future Classroom Lab and co-founding the NGO «Guild of Teachers». She is one of the coordinators of distance learning implementation in Lviv schools, founded a school of robotics and programming, and her interdisciplinary initiatives have twice represented Ukraine at Science on Stage Europe. Through young inventors’ clubs and festivals that engage teenagers, Olha promotes science among girls and fosters environmental awareness.

«One of the most important life lessons I’ve learned is that change starts with small but consistent steps», — Olha notes.

⭐️Dmytro Hinaliuk is an entrepreneur and the founder of the NGO «Youth Sails». Together with his team, he has conducted over 70 free club sessions for more than a thousand teenagers. In 2024, in partnership with the NGO and the Novovolynsk City Council, he opened a youth center that hosted 120 science and technology events for 3,100 participants. Dmytro launched Vitryla Maker Space — the region’s first public workshop for robotics, digital modeling, and woodworking. Here, students work with CNC machines, 3D printers, and laboratory equipment. He also prepares young people for engineering careers through chemistry training and courses like «Physics for Life.”

«Explore the world. Read books. The time you invest in education today is the best investment in your future», — Dmytro comments.
