    UKRAINIAN DEFENSE DEVELOPMENT CHARITY FUND

    Charitable Foundation for the Development of Defense Capability of Ukraine is created for targeted support of the military. The Foundation focuses on providing life-saving equipment, instruments and goods for effective intelligence operations. The goal of the fund is more Ukrainians rescued and a strong, innovative country. With the support of the UKRAINIAN DEFENSE DEVELOPMENT CHARITY FUND and the KSE Foundation, students of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) are launching the Donate To Evacuate initiative to raise $1,000,000 for two MI-2 AM-1 medevac helicopters for the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

    HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT
    After February 24, the KSE Foundation took on a number of non-core tasks to save lives: the Foundation provided the military with medical supplies, reconnaissance drones, communication equipment, optical devices, etc.

    For more than a year of full-scale war, the Foundation was able to establish an effective procurement and supply system, enlist the support of professional partners, and become one of the most effective foundations for raising funds for the army and Ukrainians.

    Having systematized the work and developed a competent supply system, when, along with the provision of equipment, the Foundation invested millions of dollars in training and upgrading the skills of the military, the Foundation team realized that it needed to create a separate structure so that this line of work could continue to develop.

    The educational DNA of the KSE Foundation remains – the Foundation will focus its work on helping Ukrainians, developing education and science, creating an innovative foundation for rebuilding a strong Ukraine: these are projects to equip shelters in educational institutions, rebuilding infrastructure, educational scholarships, grant programs, etc.

    The KSE Foundation’s baton for supporting the troops for the defense of Ukraine will be taken over by a new charity foundation created for the purposeful development of defense capabilities: Charitable organization “Charitable Foundation for the Development of Defense Capability of Ukraine”.
