The mobility of border guards on the front line has been strengthened by 100 Volkswagen T5 vehicles – purchased and delivered by KSE Foundation in cooperation with the BGV Charity Fund. The first batch of 50 vehicles has been on the front line since February of this year, and another 50 vehicles were handed over to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine today, June 6.
The vehicles have successfully completed their maintenance cycle and will soon be relocated to Border Guard Service units to perform operational and logistical tasks in the units carrying out combat missions on the front line.
Svitlana Denysenko, Director of KSE Foundation: “We raised $1,000,000 to support the State Border Guard Service – thanks to our international partners and private donors, we have replenished the fleet of vehicles for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. All 100 vehicles will be used in tasks carried out by our border guards to protect the country’s borders: from providing necessary mobility to equipping them with observation, communication posts, and more.”
Units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, are directly involved in combat operations on the front line and in the liberation of the occupied territories of our country. The vehicles are needed to equip brigade-type border detachments that have already been formed and continue to be formed within the service.
During the handover of the vehicles, Svitlana Denysenko, Director of KSE Foundation, and Polina Aldoshina, Chair of the BGV Charity Fund, were awarded the “For Cooperation” medals by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

These vehicles will be sent to border units and will assist the border guards in carrying out tasks and countering the aggressor in the east, north, and south of our country.”
The delivered vehicles meet the request of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – the vehicles can be adapted to perform a variety of tasks, both special and combat-related. The base of these vehicles allows for the installation of any equipment, including communication devices, unmanned aviation, observation tools, as well as handling necessary logistics.
Polina Aldoshina, Chair of the BGV Charity Fund: “Since the first days of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the BGV Fund has been helping the border guards. In particular, we purchase and deliver gear, equipment, and components for FPV drones.
The request for 100 vehicles is the largest one we’ve received from the State Border Guard Service. Our team quickly found the necessary vehicles abroad, purchased them, and delivered them to Ukraine. Additionally, each vehicle underwent technical upgrades, and they were equipped to meet the specific needs of military units, in accordance with the various combat and operational tasks they will perform.”
