For almost one and a half years of supplying drones to the front lines and four months of implementing the operational support program for brigades with DJI Mavic 3 drones, KSE Foundation has acquired and delivered UAVs to hundreds of defense formations. Currently, these drones are supporting reconnaissance in Bakhmut and advancing troops in the South.
To receive UAVs from KSE Foundation, having training certificates is a condition – a requirement that saves lives.
The foundation fully funds comprehensive training for defenders, covering the costs of courses at all UAV operator training centers in Ukraine. These centers report on trained pilots, and KSE Foundation finances the complete training.
Svitlana Denysenko, the director of the KSE Foundation: “From the procurement of essential equipment in the first weeks of the full-scale invasion, we have transitioned to an effective system of targeted acquisitions – rapid, cost-effective, and in necessary configurations. Through collaboration with our partners, we have scaled our efforts beyond mere equipment supply to provide quality training for personnel by the best specialists and deliver the required technology for the most critical tasks. This is the result of joint efforts: with international partners for supply chain establishment and with defenders and Ukrainian foundations for competent provision.”
The drone supply program continues in collaboration with our partners, Dignitas Fund and Victory Drones. Specifically, their team, led by Maria Berlinska and Lyuba Shipovich, assists the charitable foundation of the Kyiv School of Economics in verifying requests from brigades. Depending on the brigade’s tasks and pilot qualifications, we provide from one to ten UAVs upon request, along with direct drone delivery to the defenders.
The latest batch we acquired, consisting of 475 DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Fly More Combo drones, amounts to $1.2 million.
