This spring, the KSE Foundation awarded grants to five charitable funds and non-governmental organizations that save lives on the frontline every day. Thanks to this partnership, hundreds of Ukrainians and animals have already been brought to safety.
Organizations conducting evacuations with KSE Foundation support:
“Save Ukraine” Charitable Organization
The foundation carries out comprehensive rescue missions for families with children and people with reduced mobility from frontline areas, while also conducting specialized operations to return children and youth from temporarily occupied territories. Since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, the Save Ukraine team has rescued over 118,000 people. The grant from the KSE Foundation provides vital resources enabling the organization to continue this large-scale and high-risk work daily.
“Base UA” Non-Governmental Organization
The NGO team operates in the frontline Donetsk region, rescuing civilians under relentless enemy shelling. Using grant funding from the KSE Foundation, the organization acquired an additional evacuation vehicle. The new transport is already actively deployed on evacuation routes, having brought 167 people and 8 animals to safety.
“We Are from Ukraine!” International Charitable Foundation
Led by volunteer Denys Khrystov, this international charitable foundation regularly conducts evacuation runs into the most dangerous settlements along the Pokrovsk axis. Volunteers evacuate vulnerable populations who are often left without communications or basic means of survival. With support from the KSE Foundation, the team has completed over 10 complex evacuation missions, bringing civilians and their pets out of active combat zones.
“East SOS” Charity Foundation
East SOS specializes in door-to-door evacuations for families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities across all frontline regions of Ukraine. Through its collaboration with the KSE Foundation, the organization plans to evacuate around 300 Ukrainians and repair a specialized evacuation bus to ensure uninterrupted future rescue operations.
“Unity of Women” Charitable Foundation
Operating directly in the “red zone” of the Kherson region, the foundation evacuates local civilians and retrieves the fallen. Thanks to the KSE Foundation grant, the team has rescued 353 people (including 66 children) and 74 animals, as well as evacuated the bodies of 31 deceased individuals for proper burial.
