Students of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), with the support of the UKRAINIAN DEFENSE DEVELOPMENT CHARITY FUND and the KSE Foundation, are launching the Donate To Evacuate initiative to raise $1,000,000 for two MI-2 AM-1 medevac helicopters for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Your name will forever be written in the history of saving hundreds of lives of our Warriors on the front lines. We will turn the names of those who donate $100 or more into a camouflage pattern and put it on two medevac rotorcraft!
Donate To Evacuate is an initiative of students of the Kyiv School of Economics to save wounded soldiers on the battlefield. With the support of the UKRAINIAN DEFENSE DEVELOPMENT CHARITY FUND and the KSE Foundation, our students are raising $1,000,000 for two medevac helicopters for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The first hour after the injury is the “golden hour”. During it, the provision of qualified medical assistance should begin. It decides the fate of 90% of lives”, – says Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine.
The medical evacuation helicopter is the fastest and most indispensable transport on the battlefield. MEDEVAC MI-2 AM-1 can transport the seriously injured over a distance of 600 km at a speed of up to 200 km/h. The helicopter is equipped with everything necessary for safe evacuation and providing medical assistance during transportation: on board is a ventilator, a device for monitoring the work of the heart and other medical devices.
“First aid on the battlefield is provided by paramedics, but then a lot of time is spent on evacuation to the rear. When we talk about mine-explosive injuries, burns, gunshot wounds – every minute can become critical. Our students want to use those first minutes after being injured to provide medical care instead of waiting for evacuation. The medevac helicopters will arrive on average 15 minutes after the request, and doctors will provide qualified assistance right in the air”, – says Svitlana Denysenko, director of the KSE Foundation.
A donation of any amount will help save the lives of our defenders. Donate To Evacuate
