Over three months, five organizations supported by KSE Foundation brought more than 1,480 people out from under shelling and rescued over 150 animals. The grants allowed their teams to work without forced pauses and respond to more requests for help.
Supporting the Capable
Wanting to help isn’t enough to save more lives. It takes resources that let teams work without interruption and handle more requests for help.
KSE Foundation awarded grants to five charitable organizations that specialize in evacuation and in supporting people living in frontline areas:
- Save Ukraine charitable foundation
- East SOS charitable foundation
- Baza UA NGO
- We Are From Ukraine! international charitable foundation, together with volunteer Denys Khrystov
- Women’s Unity charitable foundation
All of them have well-established infrastructure and teams of dedicated specialists. These organizations don’t just evacuate people from dangerous communities. They also help them settle into their new lives: finding housing, sorting out documents, and getting access to the medical care they need.
How the Grants Worked
KSE Foundation’s support turned into tangible results. The organizations used the grants to pay their evacuation teams, buy and repair evacuation vehicles, and cover essential supplies.
The funding kept evacuation missions running without a break. In three months:
- 220 evacuation runs
- 1,480 people evacuated
- 150 animals rescued
KSE Foundation strengthens those who help others, so they can do more and do it more effectively. We support the people and teams a strong Ukraine depends on. Through initiatives backed by KSE Foundation, people who have escaped the shelling get a chance at a new life.
