Introducing the new winners of Talents for Ukraine by the KSE Foundation—inspired and talented individuals ready to change the world for the better.
⭐️ Oksana Okulova is an acclaimed Ukrainian teacher who made it into the top 20 of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2017 and received the title of «Innovative Teacher» from Microsoft. Our winner actively engages students in the development of science and technical creativity and has received numerous awards at both national and international levels. Oksana aims to create a STEM laboratory with modern equipment for her students. Thanks to her efforts, the students have received a set of multimedia and electronic measuring equipment for conducting lessons in the natural sciences and mathematics.
«Every day is different from the previous one. Every lesson brings new emotions and new impressions. We learn from the children just as they learn from us», comments Oksana.
⭐️ Nikita Zhemerenko is the founder of the SWFT GTRS guitar brand. Our winner has dedicated his life to creating musical instruments with unique designs and exceptional quality. Currently, he is working on a charitable initiative in collaboration with Ken Lawrence (master guitar maker for James Hetfield of Metallica) to create a guitar that will be donated to prominent musicians to raise funds for the restoration of the Skovoroda Museum in the Kharkiv region. In the near future, Nikita plans to focus on designing new guitar shapes and collaborating with artists to continue bringing his creativity to life.
«Have the courage to act as you see fit. In this life, there will be no one wiser than yourself», emphasizes Nikita.
⭐️ Maxym Melnyk is an inventor and engineer who combines his professional activities with a commitment to innovation and self-development. One of our winner’s most significant achievements is the development of machinery and a swivel mechanism for vehicles designed for people with disabilities. He continually improves his inventions, aiming to make them even more efficient and accessible. In the near future, Maxym plans to focus on the maintenance and modernization of this equipment, aiming to increase its reliability and extend its service life.
«Courage is the ability to act even when afraid. It’s not the absence of fear, but the ability to overcome it and move forward despite the risks», shares Maxym.
