KSE students raised $2,000,000 for medevacs helicopters and missions of The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. We contracted the first MI-2 AM-1 evacuation helicopter. In September, it took off on an urgent call. And today, it returned home – so that the Ukrainian calligraphers, Victoria and Vitalina Lopukhina – put on him the names of everyone thanks to whom lives were saved (and thousands more will be saved).
One of the most important parts of the camouflage pattern, into which the names of the “Donate To Evacuate” benefactors were turned to be applied to medevacs, is the name of the gas station complex “Peron”!
The regional network of gas stations in Cherkasy city made the largest contribution to the student initiative during the charity ballet evening at the National Opera of Ukraine.
Gas station complex “Peron” became one of the main partners of the project of aeromedical evacuation of soldiers from the battlefield. Thanks to the company’s support, the first medevac already helped transport wounded soldiers to the hospital in time – they began to be given help right in the air.
As a reminder, the “Donate To Evacuate” initiative, launched by students of the Kyiv School of Economics together with the KSE Foundation and the Charitable Foundation for the Development of Defense Capability of Ukraine, thanks to the First soloist of the English National Ballet Katja Khaniukova and benefactors, raised more than $2,000,000 for the purchase of medevac helicopters and for special rescue operations for the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine!
The names of each person and the names of the companies that made contributions of more than $100 will be applied to the helicopter in a camouflage pattern.

The medical evacuation helicopter is the fastest and most indispensable transport on the battlefield. MEDEVAC MI-2 AM-1 can transport the seriously injured over a distance of 600 km at a speed of up to 200 km/h. The helicopter is equipped with everything necessary for safe evacuation and providing medical assistance during transportation: on board a ventilator, a device for monitoring the work of the heart and other medical devices.
