The KSE Foundation, together with the Dragon Capital group of companies, arranged shelters in 4 schools in Ukraine – two educational institutions in Lviv, and one each in Vinnytsia and Kyiv. The initiative allowed more than 2,400 schoolchildren to return to full-time education.

“Our permanent partner, the Dragon Capital group of companies, was one of the first to make a significant contribution to the support of the all-Ukrainian program “ZAKHYSTOK”. Their team’s contribution of 1.5 million UAH now allows almost two and a half thousand children to study offline,” – said Svitlana Denysenko, director of the KSE Foundation.
During the cooperation, the Dragon Capital group of companies became one of the biggest benefactors of the project “ZAKHYSTOK: Safe Education” from the KSE Foundation. Together we:
- 434 students of the Sheptytskyh gymnasium in the Lviv region were returned to their desks. The arrangement of the shelter of this educational institution was made thanks to the contribution of the Victoria Gardens shopping center, which is part of the real estate portfolio of the Dragon Capital company. In the gymnasium, 300 square meters of shelter was renovated – all the necessary work was carried out for the comfortable stay of children, and the height of the basement was increased by 40 cm, because before the ceiling height was only 1.90 cm. - in Lviv Lyceum №46 named after Viacheslav Chornovil, the shelter was not only equipped, but also expanded by 157 square meters to accommodate all 1,200 students and participants of the educational process at the same time. The Victoria Gardens shopping center participated in the renovation. More details
- 300 students of the Vinnytsia Physics and Mathematics Lyceum №17 welcomed the new academic year at their school together with their classmates and teachers. Thanks to the Sky Park shopping center, which is part of the real estate portfolio of Dragon Capital, it was possible to turn an abandoned premises into a shelter and expand the area that can be used for children during air alarms. - Taras Shevchenko Kyiv School №82 became the leader in terms of the number of children who returned to full-time education in the Shevchenko district of the capital! Thanks to the contribution of the Dragon Capital company, a shelter was arranged here for all 34 classes of the educational institution: the shelter accommodates 500 children and 67 employees of the educational institution. The goal of the all-Ukrainian program “ZAKHYSTOK: Safe Education” from the KSE Foundation charity foundation is to equip shelters in 300 schools throughout Ukraine. Thanks to the contributions of benefactors and partners, we have already returned 13,000 schoolchildren to school.
