We continue to introduce you to inspiring Ukrainians the winners of the Talents for Ukraine program by the KSE Foundation. Each of them is a true example of courage, professionalism, and dedication to their work.
⭐️Artem Lysak is a journalist and producer whose professional journey began on the Maidan during the Revolution of Dignity and continued in eastern Ukraine as a war correspondent. In 2015, he joined the Krym.Realii (Radio Liberty) project, where he spent four years working undercover in occupied Crimea. Since 2022, Artem has been the Ukraine producer for Sky News. Together with the team, he has produced over 100 reports and is a recipient of an Emmy Award (2023) and the Foreign Press Award (2022). His work was also a finalist for the Kurt Schork Awards. Artem collaborates with The Guardian, The Times, Deutsche Welle, CBC, and Funke Mediengruppe.
“My home is where my people are: the spoil tips of Donbas, Cape Tarkhankut, the Shatsk Lakes, and Trukhaniv Island — all of this is my home,” Artem emphasizes.
⭐️Antonio Lukich is a film director and screenwriter, Honored Artist of Ukraine, and a member of the European Film Academy. He is the author of the films My Thoughts Are Silent and Luxembourg, Luxembourg, which have participated in and won awards at international film festivals. He runs the educational YouTube channel My Thoughts on Cinema, which promotes film language and analysis in Ukrainian. The channel aims to create a film encyclopedia in the format of essays. His professional work combines directing, screenwriting, educational outreach, and new interpretations of classical works.
“I’m always looking for a compromise between the ideal and the real — I gently call it «adaptation,» in honor of the film by Spike Jonze,” says Antonio.
⭐️Vadym Radchenko is a professor at the Department of Mathematical Analysis at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and an Honored Teacher of Ukraine. He has authored over 40 scientific publications, including a monograph published by Wiley. His research focuses on general stochastic measures. Vadym prepares students for national and international mathematics olympiads and leads a mathematics circle at the Ukrainian Physical and Mathematical Lyceum. Since 2020, he has been creating Ukrainian-language video courses on higher mathematics on YouTube.
“Don’t get too upset over individual failures or problems — they are an integral part of life,” Vadym notes.
