We are sharing the stories of three new winners of Talents for Ukraine from the KSE Foundation: a backend developer, a scientist, and a researcher on women’s rights in Muslim countries.
⭐️Kostiantyn Hladkyi is a Backend Developer and Deputy Director at «Inclusive IT». He is actively working on an innovative solution called «Digital Ramp», which monitors accessibility issues on web pages for people with various disabilities, particularly those with visual impairments. Our winner is a leading figure in the NVDA user community and a developer of plugins designed to enhance the accessibility of programs on Windows. Additionally, he creates web-accessible sites and performs updates on WordPress and Webflow platforms.
«Don’t limit yourself—often the best opportunities arise where you least expect them», notes Kostyantyn
⭐️ Yuriy Salyha is a renowned Ukrainian scientist who conducts research in agrobiology, toxicology, neurobiology, and biochemistry. He is a co-author of approximately two hundred scientific publications and several books. He created an online resource about the history of Ukrainian science and was one of the organizers of an international symposium in honor of the biologist Boris Balinsky, which took place in South Africa. Our winner is dedicated to reintroducing recognized Ukrainian scientists into historical and public consciousness and creating resources that highlight the achievements of Ukrainian researchers.
«Success is the result of numerous factors multiplied by honest work and belief in what you do», emphasizes Yuriy.
⭐️Nataliia Malynovska is a candidate of political sciences and a lecturer in the Department of National Security and Political Science at NAUOA. She researches political and gender issues in the context of Muslim countries, particularly the impact of political and religious processes on women’s rights. In 2021, she published the book «”The Women’s Emirate”? Female Politicians of the Muslim World», which became a bestseller and was recognized by Elle magazine as one of the best books on female leadership. Currently, Nataliia is finishing her research on a study of a century of women’s rights in Afghanistan and dreams of publishing a second book to develop Middle Eastern studies in Ukraine.
«Dream, for it is dreamers who changed the world, undeterred by the belief that something is impossible. The names of those who gave up remain unknown to history», comments Natalia.
