DA VINCI UKRAINE
The DA VINCI UKRAINE (DVU) program is an initiative to advance STEM education in Ukraine, implemented by the KSE Foundation and funded by the STEM Talent Fund.
Our program aims to foster critical skills in talented youth in mathematics, physics, and natural sciences, as well as to support the STEM olympiad movement.
Already, 10 initiatives have received grants of up to $60,000. With this funding, they are:
-
Opening modern STEM labs and academies;
-
Organizing free offline camps with hands-on lab experiments;
-
Holding science olympiads and festivals for schoolchildren;
-
Launching an online platform with interactive tasks for STEM olympiad preparation;
-
Running teacher trainings in lab-based learning and modern equipment use;
-
And making STEM more accessible for all — regardless of school or region.
We aim to support organisations and programmes aligned to our priorities
- Enhance STEM education for gifted students.
- Strengthen and broaden the reach of the STEM Olympiad movement.
- Develop innovative STEM programs.
- Motivate Ukrainian students to excel in national and international STEM competitions.
- Projects are likely to include, for example, enrichment and training programs/camps, curricula development, educator training, coaching and mentorship initiatives.
- DVU supports organisations committed to expanding their impact and enhancing their sustainability. Our funding should support longer-term sustainability and we will provide capacity building support to organisations we work with.
