Talents for Ukraine by KSE Foundation supports Ukrainian professionals who shape modern science, education, and innovation. This week’s winners include a schoolgirl with a neuro-innovation project for children, a researcher in antibiotic biology, and a mathematics teacher introducing modern approaches to learning.

Iryna Korynevska is a student researcher and the founder of Memory Board, an innovative neurocomplex designed to train memory, attention, and cognitive flexibility in children. She developed a methodology adapted for children with diverse needs, including those with ASD, and conducted experimental research that confirmed the project’s effectiveness. Memory Board has received international recognition at Regeneron ISEF and from the American Psychological Association, and is being implemented in rehabilitation and educational institutions. Iryna combines a scientific approach with practical innovation to support children’s development.

«I love what I do, and that’s exactly what gives me the strength to keep moving forward, even when things are difficult,» Iryna emphasizes.

Oleksandr Yushchuk is a Doctor of Biological Sciences, senior researcher, and educator, specializing in the study of actinomycetes that produce antibiotics. He develops new microbial strains for industrial antibiotic production, discovers promising antibiotic compounds, and investigates bacterial resistance mechanisms. Oleksandr advises and coordinates the research work of students and PhD candidates in Ukraine and Europe, and teaches courses in genomics, bioinformatics, and gene therapy. His research is applied in the pharmaceutical industry and has received international recognition.

«Comfort for me is minimalism, the ability to do what I love, and moments of quiet and peace», Oleksandr notes.

Svitlana Syman is a mathematics teacher, author, educational project organizer, and expert. She combines research-oriented learning with the pedagogical philosophy of «teaching mathematics by nurturing the Person.» Svitlana contributed to the creation of a STEM laboratory and develops methods for using digital dynamic geometry tools. She works systematically with gifted students and prepares winners of Olympiads and scientific competitions. Svitlana also runs the online summer school «Olympian» and actively shares her experience through masterclasses, training sessions, and webinars.

«I respect people who do not criticize others but are capable of taking responsibility and taking action themselves», Svitlana comments.
