KSE Foundation has provided Defense Unit A3796 — the main cartographic center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — with 80 Garmin Montana 700i navigation system kits. This equipment allows for more precise navigation and coordination of units even in challenging conditions.
Every map used at the front reflects the daily work of defense topographers. At Defense Unit A3796, topographic and digital maps are created according to NATO standards, helping to plan operations and navigate the terrain efficiently.
The Garmin Montana 700i kits include a receiver, an external GPS/Iridium antenna with cable, a microSD memory card, and a Garmin Marine Mount with power cable. The equipment combines GPS navigation, satellite communication, and tracking, enabling users to determine coordinates, plan routes, and stay connected even without mobile network coverage.
Thanks to this equipment, defense topographers can work more accurately and coordinate actions on the ground faster. KSE Foundation supports defense personnel with all the necessary tools to help them operate effectively and contribute to victory.
We are grateful to defense topographers for their daily, important, and responsible work, which directly impacts the success of operations on the front lines.
