FUIB supports talented students of KSE not only with grants, but also creates a comfortable environment for their learning and development.
This is evidenced by the opening of new educational spaces at the Kyiv School of Economics, which took place on May 16 thanks to the support of the FUIB team. Two modern student locations have appeared on the fifth floor of KSE – for studying, recreation, teamwork and joint leisure.
The new spaces include capsules for sleeping, areas for independent and group study, board games, and an area for a future library (possibly electronic) with a selection of recommended literature.
During the event, Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB’s Chairman of the Board, addressed the students. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of long-term investments in Ukrainian youth and creating an environment that fosters a new generation of leaders.
“KSE is one of the most powerful educational centers that motivates young people to get a quality education at home, in Ukraine. This is of particular value, and that is why we have been supporting the development of the Kyiv School of Economics for nine years. FUIB is convinced that Ukrainian youth is the force that will restore the country, and we must encourage and appreciate this potential in every way possible,” said Serhiy Chernenko.
The students also had the opportunity to talk to Mr. Sergiy in person, ask questions about his professional experience and learn more about the kind of specialists big business is looking for today. The relaxed atmosphere of the meeting was complemented by a buffet table and creative workshops.
“New spaces are about care, about trust in our students and faith in their future. Thanks to the support of FUIB, we can create opportunities that inspire development, interaction and free thinking,” said Svitlana Denysenko, Director of the KSE Foundation.
