Klitschko Foundation and KSE Foundation are announcing the call for applications to participate in Falling Walls Lab Kyiv, a unique platform for young innovators and leaders.

This event allows Ukrainians to present their innovative ideas to positively impact the world. The winner will also be able to participate in the global Falling Walls Conference on November 7-9 in Berlin.

Falling Walls Lab Kyiv, organized by the Klitschko Foundation and KSE Foundation, promotes innovative thinking and the search for creative solutions in science, society, business, art, and culture.

Who can participate?

The idea fair is aimed at students and university graduates from various fields who have ideas that can change the world.

Participants can be undergraduate, master’s, or PhD candidates. Graduates who received their bachelor’s degree no more than ten years ago, their master’s degree no more than seven years ago, or their PhD no more than five years ago are also eligible.

Participants’ presentations will be evaluated based on innovation, relevance, and the potential for practical implementation. A jury of experts will select the winner, who will have the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the global summit in Berlin.

What opportunities does Falling Walls Lab Kyiv offer?

The winner of the Ukrainian conference will receive a ticket to the Falling Walls Conference in Berlin, where the most prominent innovators, scientists, and entrepreneurs worldwide gather. This is a unique chance to join the international community of innovators and present your idea to an international audience of investors and business leaders.

What do you need to participate?

  • A carefully completed application on the German platform by September 23 (prepare a presentation and description of your idea and explain why it is essential — for your community, your country, and you personally).
  • A bit of patience while our professional jury, including businesspeople, artists, thought leaders, and heads of major organizations, selects 15 projects from all the applications.
  • If your project is among the top 15, get ready to present it at the end of September in Kyiv — we will help you record your 3-minute presentation in English as part of the Falling Walls Lab Kyiv conference.
  • You need more patience as our German partners choose the best project.
  • Has your project been selected? Pack your bags (or prepare your laptop’s camera if you can’t leave Ukraine) and present your winning idea to international investors and business leaders in Berlin at the global Falling Walls summit on November 7-9.

How to apply?

If your idea relates to science, society, industry, business, art, or culture, don’t miss your chance to become the author of a winning idea.
