The Create Ukraine program provides training and support for young Ukrainian professionals who return to Ukraine to apply their international knowledge and experience to economic reforms. To change the country, it is essential not only to have knowledge but also practical experience. This is why mentoring sessions are also organized, giving program participants the opportunity to learn from those who are already successfully working at the forefront of change.
In early January 2025, the winners of the Create Ukraine program met with Svitlana Kotliarevska, former advisor to the Prime Minister and ministers of Ukraine from 2015 to 2022, and an expert in building and scaling teams in the public sector. This meeting became the first in a series of mentoring events aimed at developing practical skills and expanding the vision of public administration among young professionals.
The meeting took place at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, providing a unique atmosphere for discussing professional challenges and opportunities. Svitlana Kotliarevska shared her extensive experience working in the public sector and emphasized the importance of history and culture in forming resilient motivation in management.
Mentoring sessions are an essential part of the Create Ukraine program, fostering the development of young professionals, helping them understand the challenges facing Ukraine, and effective approaches to overcoming them.

The Create Ukraine program is initiated by the EU, Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and co-funded EU4Youth Programme managed by Central Project Management Agency. “Create Ukraine” project is implemented by the KSE Foundation.
