Just like people, four-legged friends need special protection from harsh weather—be it cold winters, rainy autumns, or hot summers. For nearly 10 years, Ukrainian craft brand Bark&Go has been creating comfortable, functional wardrobes for dogs.

Bark&Go is based in the city of Lviv. The company designs stylish clothing and accessories, where the careful selection of high-quality materials and fittings, neatness, and strong seams reflect love and care for animals.

Thanks to the “CREATE!” grant program, the company’s co-owner Oleksandra was able to purchase new production equipment, which not only improved the quality of the products but also increased overall production volumes.

Oleksandra Vakarova is the founder and co-owner of Bark&Go, and one of 65 winners of the “CREATE!” program who received grants to scale their businesses. She used the grant funds to pay for a training program focused on developing international sales and to purchase new equipment, including a heat press for clothing customization and quality enhancement.

“Thanks to the equipment we purchased with the “CREATE!” grant, we were able to improve the quality and safety of our products. In particular, the needle detector we acquired helps ensure that no stray needles end up in our items,” shares Oleksandra Vakarova.

In the video, the entrepreneur talks about how her business transformed after participating in the “CREATE!” initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, UMAEF, and the KSE Foundation, with support from OschadBusiness and the KSE Graduate Business School.

KSE Foundation works daily to support people and the development of an innovative Ukraine through education, thanks to contributors and partners.
