The Talents for Ukraine program by KSE Foundation continues to support talented Ukrainians who are changing the country through their achievements in various fields. This week, the KSE150 list welcomes an artist, an innovator in STEM education and science, and a physics and computer science teacher.

⭐️Yevhen Kovalenko is a PhD in Technical Sciences and an innovator in STEM education and science, whose achievements span teaching, research, and engineering. Long before the COVID-19 pandemic, he developed digital tools, including video lectures, study groups, and educational stands. As an engineer, he made significant contributions to Ukraine’s space program by designing power systems for the nanosatellites POLYITAN-1 and POLYITAN-2. His inventions reduced energy losses by 20 % and increased reliability. Yevhen also promotes science, mentors engineers at the Noosphere School, and works on projects supporting national defense.

«I find true purpose in my work when I create something new and unconventional that brings real benefits to people and the world as a whole», Yevhen notes.

⭐️Daria Alyoshkina is a Ukrainian artist, sculptor, and vytynanka (papercutting) master who has modernized the traditional vytynankatechnique and brought it to international recognition. Her works have been exhibited in 16 countries, including France, Switzerland, Canada, and South Korea, at events such as the Venice Biennale and Paris Design Week. Daria has collaborated with renowned brands like Cartier and Oberig. Her project «The Lace of Centuries: Ukraine» serves as a cultural bridge between generations. She promotes vytynanka through innovative projects, educational initiatives, and printed materials, integrating Ukrainian art into the modern world while preserving its traditions.

«Choose what makes you happier or brings you closer to your goal», Darija emphasizes

⭐️Ruslan Tsygankov is a physics and computer science teacher at the Cervantes Lyceum in Kyiv. His unconventional lessons have amassed millions of views on TikTok. Through creative approaches, such as creating memes in Photoshop, he makes learning engaging and fosters critical thinking in children. Beyond his work at school, Ruslan actively volunteers to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He has also launched a YouTube channel where he simplifies complex scientific topics, making them accessible to everyone. Ruslan is dedicated to transforming education, promoting the teaching profession, and contributing to the reform of Ukraine’s educational system.

«Burn bright and ignite others. There are so many people who have lost their spark, and perhaps your fire can rekindle theirs», Ruslan comments.
