Position Overview:

As an Economic Development Officer, you will play a key role in conducting economic analysis, contributing to policy development, and leading economic projects. You will work closely with government agencies, businesses, and civil society organizations to advance economic initiatives and ensure public understanding of key economic issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct economic analysis to inform policy decisions and contribute to policy development.
• Lead and support economic development projects aligned with the Ministry’s strategic goals.
• Analyse economic trends and prepare policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with government agencies, businesses, and civil society organizations to advance economic initiatives.
• Coordinate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
• Design and conduct surveys to assess public understanding and perception of economic issues
• Analyse survey data and prepare reports with recommendations for policy improvements
• Monitor and report on the impact of public development initiatives on economic understanding and engagement

Core Competencies:

• Understanding of economic policy formulation and implementation.
• Ability to manage and coordinate economic projects.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Experience in project management and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
