Thanks to the Talents For Ukraine grant program, the KSE Foundation is able not only to support talented Ukrainians, but also to introduce you to very interesting personalities. This week, we are introducing the author of a YouTube channel about the history of architecture, the inventor of a bracelet that analyzes heart rate, and a PhD in Economics with practical experience in the cryptocurrency market.
⭐️ Dmytro Horbatiuk is an architect and researcher of architectural history. Dmytro researches the history and architecture of Kyiv, creates 3D reconstructions of historical monuments, and runs a historical YouTube channel where he publishes popular science documentaries. Currently, Dmytro is developing the Kyiv Newsreels project to digitize and publish videos of Kyiv’s architecture from different times.
“I want more people to be able to see and learn about our unique architecture, traditions, and historical sites that have not been preserved,” Dmytro says.
⭐️ Tetiana Botsva is a medical electronics and software specialist. As an R&D director, Tetiana created the world’s first heart rate variability analysis bracelet, Sence Band, which won a 2 CES Award. Now, together with her team, she is working on the RecoWARy Taming of Concussion project, which creates materials for soldiers and doctors on the topic of blast head trauma.
“I am very inspired by combat medics and Ukrainian military pilots. They remind me that I have to do more, much more, right where I am,” says Tetiana.
⭐️ Oleksiy Plastun is a Doctor of Economics, Professor. Oleksii is ranked first in the IDEAS ranking of Ukrainian economists by publication activity as of 2023. The scientist has a unique experience in combining trading and science, and dreams of writing a book on “anti-trading” in which he will share his experience of trading on stock exchanges, FOREX, and the cryptocurrency market.
