Raiffeisen Bank has provided charitable funding to support the education of six KSE University students whose parents are serving or have served as Defenders of Ukraine. The students received tuition grants that have expanded their opportunities to pursue their chosen career paths, given them greater freedom to plan their futures, and enabled them to pursue their ambitions. The bank allocated over UAH 1 million to this initiative.

“Education is one of the most important investments in Ukraine’s future. Today, it is especially important to support young people from the families of our Defenders, creating opportunities for them to access quality education, develop their talents, and pursue their ambitions. For us, this is a matter of responsibility and gratitude to those who defend our country. We want young Ukrainians to see their future here, have confidence in their abilities, and become part of the generation that will develop and rebuild Ukraine,” said Natalia Gurina, Chairwoman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank.

Raiffeisen Bank is one of KSE’s earliest corporate partners. The partnership dates back to 2016 and encompasses support for education as well as KSE Foundation’s humanitarian initiatives.

“Raiffeisen Bank has been our partner for many years, and we particularly value the consistency of this collaboration and its commitment to investing in education at every stage. In 2022, the bank was among the first to join KSE Foundation’s ‘ZAKHYSTOK: Safe Education’ program, helping restore children’s access to in-person schooling. It has consistently supported students at KSE University and invested in faculty development to ensure that young people receive an education that meets international standards. Today, supporting students from the families of Ukrainian Defenders has become another important area of our partnership. Raiffeisen is removing barriers that prevent talented young people from accessing world-class education, developing their potential, and building their futures in Ukraine,” said Svitlana Denysenko, Executive Director of KSE Foundation.

Raiffeisen Bank has allocated over UAH 1 million to support the education of six students. The funds will be used to finance tuition grants at KSE University.

“Thanks to the grant, I don’t have to worry about finding a part-time job just to cover my basic needs. Instead, I can devote more time to my studies and the things I’m genuinely passionate about. One of my dreams is to develop a language model for judging breaking competitions. In the future, I also want to apply my knowledge to engineering and defense-related initiatives. It is important to me to contribute to my country,” said Mariia Horodyska, a second-year Artificial Intelligence student at KSE University.

Partnerships between businesses and educational institutions provide students with more than financial support. They also offer access to practical experience, professional networks, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. For KSE Foundation and Raiffeisen Bank, this is an important investment in the future professionals who will help shape the development of Ukraine’s economy and institutions.

KSE Foundation works daily to support people and the development of an innovative Ukraine through education, thanks to contributors and partners.
