The charitable foundation of the Kyiv School of Economics, KSE Foundation, continues accepting applications for the third stage of the Talents for Ukraine grant program. Through this initiative, the foundation supports talented Ukrainians who aim to develop and implement innovative ideas across various fields — from arts and education to science and technology.

Talents for Ukraine is a unique program in Ukraine that does not require applicants to prepare business plans or financial reports. The grant is provided directly for personal development — professional growth, the implementation of ideas, and initiatives that help talented Ukrainians move forward.

The third stage of the program, launched in 2025 with a total budget of $1,000,000, focuses on supporting the STEM sector and individuals driving change in science and technology. Around 60% of the grant budget is allocated to STEM talent development, while the remaining 40% supports professionals from other fields without any restrictions.

“We believe that investing in talented Ukrainians is an investment in the country’s future. The Talents for Ukraine community is already implementing impactful social, scientific, educational, and artistic initiatives both in Ukraine and globally. KSE Foundation provides grants regardless of the field of activity, because the goal of this support is to recognize people who have already demonstrated strong results, enabling them to focus on developing their ideas and achieving even greater impact,” says Maryna Borysenko, Director of Programs and Implementation at KSE Foundation.

Since the launch of the program, KSE Foundation has supported more than 400 Ukrainians. Among them are astrophysicist Olena Kompaniiets, molecular geneticist Yaroslav Zaplatnikov, student developer Ivan Haidarov, teacher and founder of a STEAM laboratory Denys Denysov, Oscar-winning filmmaker and author of the documentary “20 Days in Mariupol” Mstyslav Chernov, documentary photographers Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov, surgical oncologist Anatolii Skums, human rights defender and head of the Center for Civil Liberties Oleksandra Matviichuk, and poet, director, and founder of the creative association MUR Oleksandr Khomenko.
