Zagoriy Foundation is allocating UAH 50,000 to support KSE’s memorial scholarships, honoring the memory of fallen Heroes of the Kyiv School of Economics community — combat medic Iryna Tsybukh, serviceman Ruslan Chopiuk, and intelligence officer Yar Batoh.
For the KSE community, memorial scholarships are a way to preserve memory, express gratitude, and carry forward the values of those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Through education, this memory remains alive — shaping responsibility, leadership, and an understanding of the true cost of freedom.
For the second consecutive year, Zagoriy Foundation has supported KSE’s memorial scholarships and contributed to fostering a culture of remembrance through education. More broadly, investing in education is a strategic choice for the Foundation. In 2025, Zagoriy Foundation allocated UAH 4.4 million to grant programs for high-achieving students, as well as for young people whose lives have been affected by the war — including children of defenders and veterans, and internally displaced persons.
Zagoriy Foundation’s support extends beyond students. Even before the full-scale invasion, the Foundation systematically supported education for veterans. One such initiative was KSE’s entrepreneurship training program, launched in 2017, which has helped veterans gain business skills and start their own ventures.
Zagoriy Foundation shares the mission of KSE Foundation and believes that investing in education means investing in the people who will shape Ukraine’s future.
