Talents for Ukraine by KSE Foundation supports Ukrainian professionals who are shaping the country’s modern cultural, scientific, and innovation ecosystem. This week’s awardees include an artist promoting Ukrainian art internationally, a researcher in cybersecurity, and an expert implementing green solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Anton Khrupin is an illustrator and artist, the creator of wartime postage stamps, the special cancellations of which were carried out by the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Part of the proceeds from the stamps went to support the Ukrainian military. Anton specializes in sports illustration, has worked with Ukraine’s national teams and the team of world boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk, creating posters and artwork for international competitions. He develops contemporary art projects and promotes Ukrainian art through dynamic illustrations and posters.

Ivan Opirskyy is a Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, and head of the Department of Information Protection at Lviv Polytechnic National University. He founded the Cybersecurity Department and established a modern scientific school that trains over 1,200 students and PhD candidates. Ivan developed methods to detect deepfake attacks on biometric systems with over 92 % accuracy, works on protecting critical infrastructure, and collaborates with state security agencies. His research is implemented in real cybersecurity systems and has received international recognition.

Roman Puchko is the co-founder and CEO of the nonprofit organization ReThink, a board member of the RISE Ukraine and Build Ukraine Back Better coalitions, and an expert at the Ukrainian Startup Fund. He promotes the circular economy and green innovations for Ukraine’s reconstruction, implementing educational modules, pilot projects, and systemic solutions for environmentally sustainable urban development. Roman coordinates international partnerships, advocates for legislative changes, and integrates innovations into business and government initiatives, creating practical and scalable solutions for green rebuilding.
