Thanks to the KSE Foundation’s Talents for Ukraine grant program, we support young researchers and inventors who develop practical solutions for society and make knowledge accessible to everyone. For the Foundation, this is strategically important, as investments in talent and science shape the future of Ukraine, foster the development of STEM fields, and create the foundation for an innovative and resilient society.

🌟Yaroslav Lazarenko is a ninth-grader and a young researcher specializing in detecting the falsification of bee products. Working at an apiary, he developed a method for assessing the purity of beeswax and a model for melting crystals with impurities. His work has earned prize-winning places at the MAN contest and the «Crystals» competition. Yaroslav has also created methods for separating falsified products and purifying wax and propolis using ultrasound, which have already drawn interest from producers. A recipient of the President of Ukraine’s Scholarship, he aims to develop a device for assessing the quality of bee products and to continue his scientific research.

“In my scientific achievements, I am motivated by my father, because watching him inspires me to pursue new research”, says Yaroslav.

🌟Oleh Okhramovych is a 11th-grade student, two-time winner of the global INFOMATRIX competition and champion of Ecosoft-2023. He is an inventor and author of innovative projects in robotics and eco-technology. He has created devices for extracting water from air, developed an air purification system for tunnels using zeolite panels, and participated in Robotica, Minecraft EDU, and FLL competitions. An active developer in the FLOSS community, he creates educational games and his own Linux distribution. His projects combine science, technology, and practical solutions for society.

“For me, comfort is the acceptance and understanding of the people close to me, and my inspiration comes from these very people who motivate me to keep creating”, emphasizes Oleg.

🌟Olena Skyrta is a partner and co-founder of INSCIENCE. In 2018, she co-organized a popular science conference in Ukraine and later expanded the organization into a team of 30 people running six major projects with UMAEF, Nova Ukraine, UNICEF, UN Women, the World Bank, the EU, and leading technology companies including Grammarly, MacPaw, SQUAD, and SoftServe. Under her leadership, INSCIENCE promotes science and evidence-based healthcare, delivers educational programs for children and teenagers, and develops a media platform with trusted health information.

“I dream of a successful and innovative Ukraine where science plays a significant role”, comments Olena.
