When damage and losses caused by the full-scale war didn’t stop but instead became a driving force for scaling a business. This is the story of the Ukrainian door manufacturing company “Modern Door Factory,” whose owner, Olha Lialina, became one of the 65 winners of the “CREATE!” program.
Her company, located in Kharkiv, specializes in the production of modern interior doors with minimalist designs and 3D decor. Thanks to the “CREATE!” grant program, the business owner was able to purchase new production equipment that helped improve product quality and is expected to increase production by 30%.

With the grant funds, the entrepreneur acquired a panel saw and door painting equipment, which will enable faster and higher-quality production of components and parts for interior doors.
“Thanks to the grant funding, we not only kept our production going—we were able to scale it. Now we can produce door components faster and with better quality. This allowed us to launch economy and mid-range product lines and be fully prepared to contribute to rebuilding our country,” shares Olha Lialina.
In the video, the entrepreneur describes how her business transformed after participating in the “CREATE!” initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, UMAEF, and the KSE Foundation, with the support of OschadBusiness and the KSE Graduate Business School.
