by the KSE Foundation.

About the Program

In today’s globalized world, the younger generation is increasingly mobile. Young people leave their home countries searching for the careers they aspire to.

 

Through Create Ukraine, these talented professionals are brought back from abroad to their homeland. The pilot project is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

 

To ensure they can maximize the impact of their work, the young professionals receive comprehensive support and professional development opportunities from the Kyiv School of Economics.

  • Will I receive a salary and how much will it be?

    Yes, program funding is provided in the amount of EUR 1250 (in the hryvnia equivalent before taxes).

  • Will I become a civil servant?

    No, the program does not involve employment within the Ministry’s apparatus, but you will become part of the advisory-consultative team.

  • When should I start working?

    The deadline for applications is August 19, 2024. You should return to Ukraine in advance to start working on September 2024.

  • In what fields should I have knowledge?

    Relevant experience includes at least 1–2 years of work abroad in the fields of economics, public administration, international relations, or related areas.

  • How can I organize my return to Ukraine during the war?

    Participants in the Create Ukraine program will receive comprehensive support. Our team will assist you throughout the entire process of returning and adapting. We will provide answers to all your questions — both during the preparation for the move and while working at the Ministry of Economy.

  • What is the duration of the program?

    You will start working in September 2024 – the project lasts for 10 months.

  • Is remote work possible from abroad?

    No, to participate in the program, you must be ready to return to Ukraine and work offline.

  • What comes after the program?

    After completing 10 months of work with the team from the Ministry of Economy, the collaboration within Create Ukraine will come to an end. However, you will have the opportunity to apply for vacant positions in all ministries of Ukraine, continuing to work for the benefit of the country. This will allow you to overcome the challenges of wartime and actively contribute to the post-war reconstruction of our country.
